I’ve been in the photography and beauty industry for over 20 years now and have seen the most incredible shift towards marketing against women’s insecurities. This campaign is a move to declare and celebrate the inherent beauty that I believe every woman has, no matter where she comes from, no matter what her age or skin color is, and no matter what she’s experienced in life. I love celebrating women of all ages, and especially in this time, our girls need the strength and wisdom of our mothers, aunts, sisters, and mentors over the age of 40. With this campaign, I want to share your story with the hope that it helps another girl or woman who may be struggling with her sense of worth and beauty. Our stories (when shared) are transformational, and this project seeks to do just that. I sincerely hope you join us in this campaign!

This experience is for any woman over the age of 39 (40 and above!) This includes women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and up. Our glam team has experience working with women of mature age and skin, you will look glowing and natural no matter what.

Your photoshoot will be hosted at Lauren’s private portrait studio in Rancho Santa Fe (Fairbanks Village Plaza). Rancho Santa Fe is accessible to all areas of San Diego within about a 25-30 minute drive from most places.

Yes, please invite your girlfriends, sisters or daughters to your photoshoot! We can squeeze in as many as 3 women per day if they want to participate in the project as well (each woman must be over the age of 39 for the project, however, if you would like to end up purchasing more portraits with you and your daughter or a woman under the age of 40, you can let me know on the phone and we can easily include her in the photoshoot as well (with an additional cost for hair and makeup).

Your “Fabulously 40 Women Over 40” experience includes one “IT” shot that will be featured in our Magazine this year, you’ll also receive this portrait printed and in digital format as well. If you’d like to purchase more than your one “IT” shot, portrait prices start at $250 and go up from there.
Some women are happy with their one “IT” shot and love it forever! For the ones who want to purchase more, they can end up spending anywhere from $1,000-$5,500 which includes portrait bundles, lux albums as well as finished wall-art pieces. There really is something for everyone.

Our champaign party and gallery-style gala will take place once all 40 women have been photographed. This is likely to happen in November 2023 or February 2024 when everyone has settled from the holidays.
At our Gala, we will have each women’s “IT” shot printed and showcased alongside their bio. We will have goody bags, champaign and snacks as well as an opportunity to donate to our chosen charity. This will be a fun night of celebrating each other as well as giving back to the community.
If you choose to book a photoshoot for this project, you’ll receive 2 tickets to our gala. If you decide to purchase our exclusive Legacy Collection of portraits, you’ll receive the VIP option of 4 tickets to our gala.
